Promotion of the book “Revolutionaries, Revisionists, Dogmatists, Dogs and Madmen” and “Silk, Dragons and Paper” held in Rijeka City Library (30 March 2023)

In recent years, shelves have been gradually filled with foreign publicity and scientific titles that seek to explain and bring to the modern PR China, exploring every aspect of it. Stopic’s books show that the academic community in Croatia is not immune to this global movements. Although there two completely different titles were on the table, through the conversation visitor had the opportunity to hear and discuss about today’s international scientific cooperation, the problem of exploring Chinese history, but also the need for further work. Besides the author, books were also presented by Vjeran Pavlaković (University of Rijeka, History department), Goran Bilogrivić (University of Rijeka, History department), David Čarapina (Rijeka City Library).
